Our law offices, Ronald D. Weiss, P.C. a.k.a. the Law Offices of Ronald, D. Weiss, since 1993, have been all about resolving the debts of individuals and businesses, throughout the Long Island and New York City areas. Our attorneys and staff are experienced, knowledgeable and compassionate. We have won several landmark appeal cases and some of our staff have contributed to the drafting of the Foreclosure Abuse Prevention Act, an important New York State law, passed on December 30, 2022, dealing with the foreclosure statute of limitations. Our active law offices located in Melville (our main office), Queens, Brooklyn, Mineola and Bohemia, are convenient, comfortable and technologically advanced. The founder of our law offices, Ronald D. Weiss, who started our law offices in 1993, graduated New York University School of Law, in 1988 and was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1989. Ron, like our other attorneys, is admitted to the federal courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York; Ron is also admitted to the Second Circuit Court of Appeals and the State of Connecticut. Ron started his career in debt resolution, while still in law school, where he won a prestigious Bankruptcy Scholarship that allowed him to publish bankruptcy law articles under the auspices of revered Professor of Bankruptcy Law, Lawrence P. King and to clerk for a prominent bankruptcy judge, Prudence B. Abrams, in the Southern District of New York. Our law offices are among the largest and oldest law firms on Long Island and in the New York City areas dealing with consumer and small business debt.
